Star of the Week
Each week in
Room 15 we select a ‘Star of the Week’ to be our class leader. This year we
have a focus on ‘Star Qualities’. When
your child is selected to be our ‘Star of the Week’ they will be asked to bring to school three photos of themselves on the Monday. Each photo should show themselves exhibiting a different positive quality. For example this could be a family photo showing
them being caring or helpful towards another family member or a
photo of themselves playing a sport showing them to be skillful. They
will be asked to share each of the photos with the class, giving a bit of
background information and explain what ‘star quality’ they are exhibiting. The
photos along with a description of what they said will be displayed on a
board in the classroom and the Blog. We will be doing some work around this
with the children in class. Listed below are some possible personal qualities.
